Maybe Riots arent always the Smartest thing!!

As everyone has seen lately the wonderful students of NYU expressed their feelings by having a riot. Now I am a very big supporter of freedom of speech and standing up for what you believe in, but when it is unplanned and certainly not fully thought out … that is just stupid. Few demands are very noble but seriously, I expect these students to be a little bit smarter! You don’t barricade a cafeteria (by the way: a cafeteria really that’s original!) and expect one of the most prestige university to melt on your feet. In my OPINION (I love freedom of speech don’t you??) I think that these ‘overly determined’ students should be expelled for making themselves look stupid, but more destroying the opportunity of the Gaza students. If they really cared they wouldn’t have acted like mindless … I want my 15-sec in fame, they would have thought of a better way. Thanks geniuses!

The takeover was not clearly planned but it did make the news. This in itself will inform others of the demands and fairness of the University. In effect, it will get the attention of some big wigs and cause political pressure.
The students at NYU were excising civil disobedience. They have sent letters to the administration of the college and to their Student Affairs office. Nothing has happened so of course something like this would happen.
