World of Warcraft Expansion Mists of Pandaria

Announced yesterday at blizzcon. There is going to be a new expansion pack called Mists of Pandaria. In this expansion a new race and class is introduced. Also blizzard is trying to do more with the talent trees.

In this new expansion a new continent called Pandaria is going to be introduced. This is supposedly were Pandaren live. Pandaren’s are a like a cross between a panda bear and humans. With Pandaren’s becoming the new playable race they come with a new class called Monk. Lastly Pandaren’s are neutral but at certain point they will have to pick between horde or alliance.

The new class Monk will be able to take on the role of Tank, Damage, and Healing. It is said that a Brewmaster Monk will be able to absorb damage which will allow the monk to full fill the tank role. A healing Monk can use ancient healing powers and medicine to heal there allies.

Blizzard is introducing a Pet Battle System. This will allow you to collect pets in different seasons, times, and weather conditions. You will be able to level up your pet battle with them and teach the unique abilities. Pets will have random states which will allow them to be better for tanking, damage, or CCing. I do have to say it is starting to seem a bit like pokemon. But anyway.

ok guys a few days ago Kane had asked me to try out this new….umm im going to say connection technology called team speak at first I was totally against downloading another thing to my computer (hint I’m not a computer person) but then I learned it was free and that I wouldn’t have to worry about viruses and other unlawful things of that nature. I downloaded it and saw that it was actually pretty cool and it to me it’s like another ventrilo but free. the only thing that bugs me is that their constantly adding updates which you may or may not have to reinstall the stupid thing and the woman voice that tells you someone is on is genius. lol well in other words want am I saying? team speak is easy to use, free and free lol.

Second Life – Vollee

Well I did a post about Vollee yesterday. When I was looking at their website I found out they created a Second Life client that will run on the phone. I am unable to test out their client since they don’t support yet Samsung BlackJack 2. But base on some of the videos it doesn’t look all that bad. Vollee reliease on streaming so the game would run fast. Second Life was never intended for mobile devices but the work Vollee has done with Linden Labs have made it possible.

Currently if you want to use the Vollee Second Life client, it is supported by 70 mobile phones. But you need to make sure you have a data plan. I would recommend unlimited. Your phone must be on the 3G network or WiFi or the client will not work.

Vollee has kept true to the desktop version of Second Life. You still have the chat window you can open up to talk to friends, and can look your friends list. Also you still have the ability to fly and teleport. The client is free all you need to make sure is to have an account with Second Life.

So those of you who are into Second Life. I do recommend giving it a try if your phone is on Vollee’s list.

Cavalry CAXA 1TB Hard Drive

Hey guys it is Kane. Sorry that I have not posted in a while. This post is about Cavalry CAXA 1TB hard drive. On Newegg the hard drive has a rating of 4 out of 5. I have been using the external hard drive for about three weeks now. It has been holding up well all this time. I was able to transfer 75 gigabytes of information to the external hard drive in 45 minutes. The transfer rate it 25 Mbps. I have it connected to the computer using eSATA. The Cavalry CAXA is extremely quite.So that was my experience with this hard drive.

Gamer Pub will go into private mode tomorrow. This is to insure that the changes that are made go smoothly. Also for the first attemp to sync Gamer Pub with the others. This will happen between the time of 1pm to 3pm. This should give me the time to do the final changes.

Cooliris Overview

Cooliris is a program that allows you to view pictures and videos on the web in 3d. You can pan though the pictures as if they are on a wall. Also you can play videos straight from Cooliris. The program has a nice feature to use google search, hulu search, and Youtube search plus more. This program can also allow you to add favorite pictures once you have registered. This program in my point of view deserves 4.5 out of 5. It is a good program. I also believe that the program will work well with Windows 7 with the multi touch feature.

I am still going thought different things from Windows 7 and Windows Azure. I am not going to spoil anything right now. One of the problems I had with Windows 7 was Video and Audio. Since I was just able to get my hands on the Audio drivers. I will be able to start doing recording soon. Thank you for staying tooned.
